Another highlight on board the Embraer Legacy 650E: A Synthetic Vision System (SVS) has been retrofitted to the D-ASAP! The system displays an interactive topographic map on the cockpit monitors and brings the aircraft to the forefront with the latest generation of avionics.

The conversion is certified as a service bulletin by the manufacturer Embraer and includes the installation of new LCD displays, new main computers (integrated computers) and modified controls. After successful tests D-ASAP is now back in service with the new terrain display.

Two more Legacy 650E will be equipped: The system will soon be established in the cockpit of the D-AJET and the D-ARMY.

Since autumn 2018, one C-Check has replaced another in the hangar of AIR HAMBURG TECHNIK. In summer 2019, the third 48-month check of an AIR HAMBURG fleet member was successfully completed: D-AHOX was handed over to AIR HAMBURG's flight operations after seven weeks - in which around 4.000 man-hours were worked - and is now flying without a hitch.

Simultaneously, the AIR HAMBURG TECHNIK team accomplished an additional 15 projects and unscheduled deployments throughout Europe.
